Team Goals<\/span><\/span><\/strong> are the most used elements of the <\/span><\/span>Team Backlog<\/span><\/span><\/a> . <\/span>They describe the goals and (interim) results of the team regarding a Feature<\/a>, a Module<\/a> or a <\/span><\/span>Service<\/span><\/span><\/a> , depending on the type and responsibility of the <\/span><\/span>Team<\/span><\/span><\/a> .<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Generally speaking, <\/span><\/span>the Working Team turns Team Goals into Inspectable Results<\/a><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Within an <\/span><\/span>Iteration<\/span><\/span><\/a> , a single <\/span><\/span>Team<\/span><\/span><\/a> can<\/span><\/span> usually not <\/span>generate <\/span>an <\/span><\/span>integrated, potentially deliverable System Increment<\/span><\/span><\/a> or a new <\/span><\/span>version of an Application<\/span><\/span><\/a> . <\/span>The construction of a <\/span><\/span>System Increment<\/span><\/span><\/a> , which is described by a <\/span><\/span>backlog element type “Sample”<\/span><\/span><\/a>, is <\/span>broken down <\/span>by the Team Product Owners<\/a> into achievable <\/span><\/span>Team Goals<\/span><\/span><\/strong> with i<\/span>nspectable <\/span><\/span>Results<\/span><\/span><\/a> .<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

All other types of work are also defined in terms of Team Goals, so that the Working Team<\/a> has enough freedom how they turn the goals into results.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Team Goals are <\/span>with <\/span><\/span>Acceptance Criteria<\/span><\/span><\/strong> in<\/span><\/span> order to describe and constraint them more precisely. <\/span>When formulating the Team Goals, the Team Product Owner<\/a> and the Working Team<\/a> should consider how the results can best be presented in the Team Review<\/a> in order to receive feedback from the Stakeholders<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
