Cluster Artefacts

Specific types:Cluster Backlog, Cluster Cycle Backlog, Cluster DoD, Cluster Improvement Backlog, System Increment, Usable Knowledge

Each Cluster consists of several teams and divides the Organization into meaningful value streams. He organizes the various systems, applications (products) and markets. For this he has a Cluster Backlog with system versions consisting of features and Modules as elements, a Cluster Kanban board and the Cluster DoD .

Each Cluster has the following artifacts:

  • Backlogs
    • Cluster Backlog : Backlog that contains all the work of the teams in the cluster. The Cluster Backlog can contain entries for one or more systems. If only one system is developed, the Cluster Backlog is usually called the system backlog.
    • Cluster Kanban : This Kanban board shows the progress of the work of all teams in the cluster. If only the work for the current Cycle is shown, it is also called the Cycle Backlog , similar to the Iteration Backlog at team level.
    • Cluster Improvement Backlog : Contains all impediments and improvements that cannot be resolved at team level, either because they affect several teams or because they were escalated by the team Scrum Master by the affected team.
  • Cluster DoD : This contains the agreements that apply to all teams in the cluster. The Team Scrum Masters of the Cluster ensure that the teams are aware of this, either by copying the entries in the team DoDs or by taking other suitable measures.
  • Cluster products
