The Organization is the top level in P4 and organizes the portfolio. For this purpose, the Organization has a Portfolio Backlog with applications as elements, a Portfolio Kanban board and the organization DoD .
Each Organization has the following artifacts:
- Backlogs
- Portfolio Backlog : Backlog that contains all the work of the Organization. The Portfolio Backlog contains entries of all systems and applications that the Organization is responsible for.
- Portfolio Kanban : This Kanban board shows the progress of the work of all teams and Clusters across the Organization.
- Organization-Improvement-Backlog : Contains all impediments and improvements that cannot be resolved at the Cluster level, either because they affect several Clusters or because they have entered the Cluster Scrum Master through the affected Cluster or its Cluster Scrum Master. Master Group (CSMG) were escalated.
- Backlogs of the different communities of practice (CoP)
- Organization DoD : This contains all agreements that apply to all Clusters in the Organization. The organization’s Cluster Scrum Masters ensure that the Clusters know about it, either by copying the entries in the Cluster DoDs or by taking other appropriate measures.
- Organization products
- Applicable knowledge ( Usable Knowledge )
- Documented decisions ( Documented-Decisions )
- Integrated, released and marketable systems and Applications (= portfolio)
